Sustainable Growth
For entrepreneurs who want to grow a more spacious and scalable business
If you want a business that honours your time, energy, capacity & commitments, and plays to your real strengths, this group programme is for you.
Get out of the weeds of client work and stop running a business that only works when you do.
Instead, start running a business that is fuelled by your creativity and intellectual property - where it’s your body of work that is doing the heavy lifting.
Logistics
Sustainable Growth is a six-month small group programme (3-10 members) for experts who want to create a long-term business asset (e.g. a flagship course or a book) which leverages their IP.
It runs from October 2026 - April 2027 (with a 2-week break at the turn of the year).
The fee is £500/month for six months.
*Special Earlybird option - sign up early and get an extra 1:1 call in September to kickstart our time together.
Sustainable growth comes from creating a scalable body of work based on your specific expertise
What do I mean by a scalable body of work?
Something that gets your unique blend of experience, knowledge, innate skillset and years of training out of your head and into the world in a format people can engage with, without needing to hire you 1:1.
Whether you create a flagship course, a signature workshop, a book, a keynote speech or a digital product (like web templates if you’re a web designer), you need a business asset that allows you to stop purely trading your time for dollars.
You might start with a course and then later add a book or a keynote - in a sense it doesn’t matter what the format is - it matters more that you’re creating something with longevity, which allows you to leverage the expertise and IP that you have built up over the years.
If you want a business that allows you choice, agency and spaciousness, I made this programme for you. You want to be well-resourced and to be able to make decisions from a place of ease and stability rather than fear and scarcity.
If this sounds good, let’s talk!
If Sustainable Growth is right for you, you’re probably already sold on the idea of creating a flagship course, book or other IP-based asset. Here are some of the questions you might currently have over the future of your business:
What’s the big idea that my business should revolve around? And how can I distill things down to just one thing without getting bored, frustrated, or feeling like there’s no room for nuance?
How can I design my business model so that there’s more space for me - and for life’s surprises?
How do I build a business that's simpler and lighter to run and easier to grow?
How can I expand my visibility and audience so that I can begin to scale?
How can I know in advance that I’m creating something that buyers will love?
How can I make time to build something new?
Let’s answer them together in Sustainable Growth
“I absolutely loved working with Sophy.
From the first moment in our discovery call, I felt comfortable, connected, supported, seen, cared for, and confident in not only her abilities, skill and know-how about books & publishing, but also her connection to and care for me as a whole person. The support was fantastic, all the small and large suggestions she offered were spot on, and the investment was 1,000% worth it.”
Ilana Beigel | Yoga Teacher & Author (former 1:1 book coaching client)
Let’s reimagine your business
Hey there, I’m Sophy. I’m a regenerative business coach with a background in publishing & book coaching.
I work with coaches, service-based business owners and course creators. I’m here to help you redesign your business so that it fits the life you actually want to lead. You don't have to choose between a high income business and one that feels high integrity, creative and sustainable to launch and deliver. And you don’t have to feel depleted, scattered or stretched too thin.
By creating a long term asset for your business you can start earning from your expertise instead of only ever trading hours for dollars.
“I would absolutely and unhesitatingly recommend working with Sophy.
“I got exactly what I was looking for: someone who understood me, who grasped my vision easily, and who was able to give me tips and thoughts that were helpful and that I hadn't yet thought of myself. Also, I got much-needed validation for my ideas.
Sophy’s business style, personality, and specialized knowledge are what set her apart. I had zero interest in working with those "ladyboss" business coach types. I needed someone to talk to who would understand me and my approach to being alive.”
—Sarah Braun | Rewild Mothers (former Nurture group program member & also 1:1 client)
Here’s exactly what you come away with after our time together:
Clarity about the one big idea at the heart of your business (this can be a complex idea that blends modalities & concepts, but it needs to be one thing that you can become known for).
A core business asset - a book, a flagship course, a keynote speech, a digital product - that has longevity and leverages your IP
You’ll know how to design feedback loops based on customer research that simultaneously ensures you’re making something people actually want and you’re building your audience as you go
Support around launching, positioning, copywriting, visibility & platform-building
“I have written an entire book for my business as part of our time together, something I didn't really believe was possible in such a short timeframe.
Sophy helped me get clear on my concept and proposal, while the accountability of a small, intimate group kept me going even on days when I didn't feel like it.”
-Yarrow Magdalena | Web Designer & Author (former 1:1 and Writing Studio client)
Who am I to help you develop your body of work?
I’m an editor turned book coach, who then became a copywriter & marketing mentor.
I worked in the books world for a couple of decades and have degrees in literature and publishing. I’ve worked (as an editor and as a publicist) for publishing companies, book festivals, bookshops and libraries, run my own small press, been the founding manager of the Edinburgh UNESCO World City of Literature Trust, run the BBC Short Story Awards - you name it, if it relates to books, I’ve probably done it at some point.
I was a book coach for over ten years and I’m also cross-trained as a Relational Dynamics life coach, which helps me to support you if you’re experiencing imposter syndrome, writer’s block or issues around visibility etc.
In my work as a copywriter, messaging specialist and launch strategist I’ve worked with well over 100 business owners on creating and launching their courses. Clients have varied in business size and experience, from new starts to people with over 15 years of experience and incomes varying from $20k to six figures and beyond - one recent client with a course-based business is on track to make their first million this year.
If you know you want to start creating your flagship course or writing your book, but you can’t work out how to fit such a big project into your already packed life, I can show you how it can be done. If, every time you think about building your scalable body of work, a little voice whispers, “what do I have that’s worth saying?” - I know how to help you find your voice and your confidence as a creator.
What results do my clients get?
Former 1:1 book clients have been published by Sounds True, Penguin, Canongate Books, Hodder & Stoughton, Saraband and Harvill Secker and include novelists Ryan O’Connor, Helen Sedgwick, Lucy Ribchester, Claire MacLeary, Zoe Venditozzi, Angela Jackson and Booker Prize shortlisted crime writer Graeme Macrae Burnet, plus non-fiction writers Leonie Charlton, Jules Blaine Davis and Clare Hunter.
Marketing and launch strategy clients have sold out their offers and had their most successful launches to date.
“I'd definitely recommend it because it's been so helpful for me to clarify my writing goals and move forward to getting the writing done.
I'd recommend it for people who want to write but don't have a clear focus for their project, people who are finding it hard to commit to getting the writing done, people who want to be a part of a supportive community that encourages them to meet their goals, people who need to be a part of a community for accountability to get the writing done.
It's a nurturing and supportive experience that can help you to clarify your writing goals and commit to getting the writing done. Sophy is a skillful and supportive guide. It's inspiring to work with someone who brings such a rich background of knowledge and experience to the table.
It's been incredibly helpful. I feel like I got unstuck from so many places that I kept getting stuck.”
- Jen Johnson | Therapist, course creator & author, member of The Writing Studio group program

Working with Sophy feels as if I have a supportive business partner on tap.
“Every session with Sophy provides me with renewed focus and clarity around the next steps required to move my business forward. I've been able to clarify my target and my message and to create a website that hits the right note. And our ongoing sessions have meant that I've been able to sharpen my strategy and focus on the specific steps required to achieve it.
I would absolutely recommend Sophy's services. Working with her feels as if I have a supportive business partner on tap. Someone who understands my bigger vision, combines insight with a super practical point of view and who keeps me on track with my goals.
I got practical input that wasn’t formulaic and wasn’t based on what “should” be done. Sophy completely took into account not only my business needs but who I am as a person and what is likely to resonate with me and inspire me to take action.”

“I had an amazing experience working with Sophy.
She is so much fun to work with, you should definitely work with her! I appreciated her deep understanding of the online business space, because she immediately got what I was trying to do with my offer, and we could focus on how best to present it to my audience.
Because Sophy also values ethical and inclusive marketing, our discussions were so productive — I could share my ideas freely and get helpful feedback instead of getting stuck explaining why I don't believe in certain marketing and sales strategies (like I've done in the past with other coaches). It's so refreshing to get to collaborate with someone who values transparency and clarity over misleading jargon..”

This is a six month programme. You’ll need to allocate around an hour a week to come to live Q&A calls or work through course materials, then on top of that you will probably need around 20 mins a day and 2 hours a week for implementation (you can use our co-working calls to support you with this).
“I would definitely recommend working with Sophy to anyone who has a specific writing project or wants to commit to writing regularly in a practical way.
I got lots and lots of ideas on how to write, rituals and routines etc - it's really helpful to have that from Sophy and from different people in the group.I feel like through this time I've really got that sense that I'm a writer. Something on a physical, visceral level feels like I have a call to stand up and speak about what's important to me.
When I write I feel a lot less inhibited, and I'm typing and it's just coming out. The aspect of becoming a writer has been really important. It's not a word count thing, it's about how I feel. Being witnessed is important to me. I'm clearer about what I want and more committed to writing without it feeling like something I should be doing - it's just become part of what I do.”
- Avni Trivedi - Osteopath & Author (former Mastermind & Writing Studio client)
