Sophy Dale is a business mentor, copywriter and an expert in storytelling, relational marketing and brand messaging. She works with small business owners around the world, on their websites and strategy to help them to find a steady stream of referrals, recommendations and repeat business.

She qualified as a Relational Dynamics Coach back in 2009 and has been working with service-based business owners - especially coaches, consultants, therapists and designers - since 2017.

Sophy Dale is a business mentor, copywriter and an expert in storytelling, relational marketing and brand messaging. She works with small business owners around the world, on their websites and strategy to help them to find a steady stream of referrals, recommendations and repeat business.

She brings her training as a coach and researcher and experience as an editor and publisher together into her work helping people run thriving businesses whose successes are based in clear messaging, a strong online presence, relationship-based marketing and strong referral networks. More than 90% of her own clients come via referrals, recommendations or are repeat customers and her approach to marketing is rooted in creating aligned collaborations and building a network of care and mutual support.

Since 2017, she has supported over a hundred people to develop sustainable service-based businesses that are rooted in working for the common good (as authors, healers, therapists, speakers and entrepreneurs).

She grew up in Yorkshire and studied at Edinburgh University and Trinity College Dublin, before working for several years in publishing and arts organisations, in Edinburgh and London. Her love of words and stories then led her to work online as a book coach and editor, before becoming a copywriter and marketing coach.

Sophy has lived in Paris, London, Dublin and Rome but now lives in Edinburgh with her husband and their teenager.
